Long Time No Blog...

Don't know if anyone out there reads my blog any more...lol...since I rarely post lately!
I do sometimes have a minute to review your blogs but haven't commented, or emailed much lately.

Isaac has been home 6 weeks today! And he turned 11 months old yesterday! He's doing pretty well....so close to walking....still no teeth (but they're coming soon!). He's super active, gets into everything...and he's really grown since we've been home. He recently discovered his LOUD voice...lol and that he can shriek. (Thank God for Ibuprophen lol!) We are on a mission to teach him about the "Inside Voice"...and to stop blowing raspberries/spitting...but so far, it's slow going. He babbles alot, says Da-da (alot...everything is a Da-da), and tries to say Dog and Duck. Once in a great while he says Ma-Ma or Mom when he wakes up...but not often enough. He has just started to give me really tight hugs every morning -- which are the most wonderful thing - the highlight of my day!

I survived the weekend trip to Canada....and so did Isaac. (After having his grandpa constantly taking photos with a flash bulb going off every couple minutes...grr) We were really tired and glad to be home. He did get to swim at the hotel indoor pool for the first time and had a blast! I wish we'd have taken pictures! (kicking myself!) I can't wait until we can swim more this summer.

I've really been struggling with some post-adoption-blues....just being home all day, alone with no family or friends nearby....and now dreading the 2 week trip to China that hubby will be taking the first part of June. (How will I make it 24/7 for 2 whole weeks with no breaks, and no help??? OMG. Any Volunteers??!! lol. My own parents are making lame excuses why they can't come visit for a few days and help me out...I just don't get it....way to make me feel loved, and help with the blues I've been having.)

Well, Isaac is up and is trying to type...and say hello to you all....lol. I better go.

Miss you all.....don't give up on me. I love hearing from you.
I am on Twitter off and on (from my phone)....and always get emails on my phone at my gmail account....

I'm sorry you are having the blues. I imagine it is a hard transition to make from working outside the home to being a stay-at-home Mom.

I'm on Twitter too. My username is scrappermg.

Red I am sending you light and love to get you through your 2 weeks home alone. Try to keep smiling and see the funny side of life.....follow Isaac's example.

I haven't forgotten you. Your blog is one of my favorites. My 18 month old granddaughter is literally climbing on me as I type this so I understand. I'm sorry you're having the blues and hope that someone can help you out when your hubby is gone. Hang in there it will get easier.
