One of those months that fills me with hope. Spring is around the corner, and mother nature is secretly preparing behind the scenes for new life. March is a time of renewal, and a time of beginnings. March marks several milestones in my world. March is a time of recollection and rememberance. A time to reflect and a time to celebrate.
Here are some of my March Highlights:
My very first beautiful niece was born on March 7.
My family has 6 birthdays in March, and my hubby & my brother share the 15th.
One of best high school friends died from complications of HIV.
I left my first marriage.
My best friend opened the door to me when I had no other place to go. Little did I know at the time he would later become my husband.
March 2008 we decided to adopt.
We returned to church...after many years of being lost.
We received our Travel Call to fly to South Korea last year.
(My first international flight!)
I became a Domestic Diva!
We met our son in person for the first time on Tues. March 31, 2009
I met Tracy, who was also traveling to Seoul to meet her son. They became Friemily (friends+family)
My friend back in Lexington Ky would say you forgot March Madness of course! Yes, who could forget U.K. Basketball! All I think about though, is the sweet smell of springtime in Kentucky. Baby ducklings and foals, hyacinth and cherry blossoms, daffodils and tulips. Ahhh...I truly left my heart there...
I have several other March happenings, nothing quite as significant as those above. You can check them out in my archives for March 2007, March 2008, or March 2009.
Do you have a month that is full of significant days? If so what is it, and what are they? I love to hear people's stories....
