What perfect timing, in the year of the rabbit, for us to receive a review copy of the board book & CD set - Five Little Bunnies from Twin Sisters Productions. Isaac loves story time and loves listening to music so we were very excited to check out this really cute die-cut board book and the accompanying CD.
The book is short and simple with adorable illustrations about 5 furry little bunnies at play. It is a fun, easy read and encourages children to count 1 to 5. The CD has 20 tracks - a recorded version of the story in the book plus 19 songs of both newer and classic children's songs, sung by Kim and Karen - the Twin Sisters. The run-time of the CD is 32:20 - great for car trips, or for playtime at home. The set is meant for ages 0-6 and retails for $9.99
Isaac really enjoys story time with this book. After reading it a few times, he has almost memorized the words and can say it with us. I will admit, however, he is fairly advanced and can count to 20 already but still enjoys counting the bunnies just the same. We've been reading this book almost daily! This is a very nice sturdy board book that has stood up to much love and lots of drool already lol.
We already own the Twin Sisters 50 Toddler Songs 2 CD set, which he loves, so I was happy when I realized Five Bunnies was from the same folks and Isaac was tickled when he heard the familiar singing voices on the CD. He really likes listening to the story with the book in hand. The songs are upbeat, fun, happy songs that are easy to memorize and sing along. They're great for playing in the background while you play with your child, or host a playdate, or playing in the car--all of which Isaac enjoys. We really think your child would enjoy this book and CD set as well. This would make a great gift - especially with Easter coming soon!
